

A Wasatch Adventure
I met my friend Matt Irving 5 years ago on an Eastern Mountain Sports photo shoot in NH. Now that I've moved to Salt Lake City, we've been doing some exploring (and post-holing) around the Wasatch while also scheming future adventures. Sad news on New Year's Day
This is a photo of the inside of Le Jardin, a wonderful Afghan-French cafe with excellent coffee, pastries, and wi-fi. I spent many hours here; it was a peaceful oasis, a place where I felt safe being 'outside'. The courtyard (seen here) was filled with roses, lavender, pomegranate, pear, and apple trees. This sleek, young horse mowed the lawn and the restaurant owners were kind and generous. So it was sad to hear the news this morning that Le Jardin was the victim of a hu
